The winner will take on incumbent Republican Quico Canseco this fall. Gallego received 78% of the vote, due in part to his campaign`s efforts to organize supporters to click the buttons of our poll in his favor. Rodriguez received 18% of the vote and Bustamante 5%.

SAN ANTONIO - Representative Quico Canseco has chosen to end Medicare for Texas seniors in order to give another tax cut to millionaires, Texas State Representative and Congressional candidate Pete Gallego said today. Rep. Canseco voted today for the controversial Republican budget that would end the Medicare guarantee and raise health care costs for seniors while giving people making over $1 million per year a $394,000 tax cut.
